How to pray to take your destiny: You have to contest for your inheritance

Your inheritance is going to be contested and if you don’t contend for it, you will lose it. Jesus taught us about prayer and He said when a strong man fully armed keeps his good, the strong man is sure that his goods are in safety. But when a stronger than he will come upon him, it would take away the arm which it uses to keep his goods.

We stand against a strong man to take back our destiny. You don’t wait for your stuff to come. You confront the contenders on the platform of prayer and take back what belongs to you.

Many have been waiting for it. Waiting for what is already finished. It’s funny. Jesus says I’m not coming to do anything. I’ve done everything. Now you take what I have already done with the violent force generated on the platform of prayers among others.

(Prayer in tongues)

I pray that today you do not become weak spiritually to take what belongs to you for we contend not with flesh and blood. but against powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Therefore, put on the armor and stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth. I mean, you have to stand up to withstand. You don’t keep sleeping. You don’t lie down.

Stand up to challenge him and stand up to that confrontation. Stand up to the demonic resistance to take full delivery of your heritage.

We must engage practically in spiritual warfare. Particularly in prayer and fasting to take full delivery of what belongs to us. The strong man is sitting on some part of your heritage, you must stand up and fight and take back what belongs to you.

The strong man is sitting on some aspects of your life. Pray with all prayers and supplications in the spirit. That is the conclusion of spiritual warfare.

As you pray in the spirit, you are building up your faith. As you are building up your faith, scriptures are coming alive to you to fight the war. Is somebody getting what I’m talking about?

People don’t read to that point when you’re talking about spiritual warfare but that is the conclusion of praying with all prayer and supplication in the spirit.

We were working one day in Kaduna from my office to where our church used to be and then suddenly I began to pray in the spirit. Then the man walking with me asked, “What happened?”

I told him I’m dealing with one devil. I just noticed something was trying to move between the two of us.

That’s why you must be baptized in the Holy Ghost. You can’t pray in the spirit except you are baptized in the Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongue. Christianity has become a mere decoration, that’s why we are suffering frustration.
