What Does 2 Timothy 4:2 Mean?

2 Timothy 4 vs 2

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

  1. Use every opportunity to preach the word.
  2. Use every meeting to preach the word.
  3. If all you could say is Jesus is Lord, you have done the work of a preacher.
  4. Don’t forget the last wish of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28 vs 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
  5. This message is not only for pastors or evangelists, but it is for everyone.
  6. Preach the word anywhere you find yourself.
  7. Preach the word in your office with wisdom.
  8. Preach the word with your character
  9. Preach the word through your speech, dressing, conversations, and compassion.
  10. Find a way of introducing Jesus everywhere.
  11. Do not be ashamed of Christ, so that Jesus Christ will not be ashamed of You.
  12. As you preach the word of God, God shall deliver you, and the word shall deliver someone in Jesus’ name. Amen

What the Angels Said — Carol McLeod Ministries

Angels are an intrinsic and dynamic part of the Christmas story. Christmas simply would not have occurred without these God-sent messengers from heaven. We don’t know if the angels were clothed in flowing, white robes, if they had a halo that sparkled, or even if they flew with wings into the Christ

    The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
