Everyone who exalts himself ... who can find no fault in himself ...will stumble and be humbled. Jesus

“Everyone who exalts himself — who can find no fault in himself — will stumble and be humbled. If you will humble yourself, pray and seek the face of my Father — if you will turn from your wicked ways, He will hear from heaven and will forgive your sins and lift you up. With pride comes disgrace, for my Father opposes the proud. Humility starts with fear of the Lord, for He is mighty.

“My Father calls ‘great’ in His kingdom those who humble themselves as a little child. He heals the humble and their land. He gives riches, honor and life. He blesses with favor. He gives victory. He sustains them in all their ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. The humble will inherit wealth and enjoy peace and prosperity. When life beats you down, my Father lifts you up. Do not grumble about your circumstances. Instead, humble yourself before the Lord and ask him to sustain you, keep you, and bless you.” — Jesus
