Ways to beat Stress Beat Stress 2

Control your environment

There are so many things adding to your stress that you have no control over.

Figure out what you can control and control those things. Do it judicially.

You can control your environment. The place you work in, the place you live in.

Even if it is just a tiny space you have the right and ability to provide some control over that little bit of “you” space.

At your desk, if it is allowed, put some pictures and mementos of places that bring you peace.

At home in your space, you have several chances to control stress. Colors, pictures, music and smells are all under your control to help you deal with the stress the world bombards you with.

Take control of your environment.

As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
