Psalm 81

Psalm 81 verse 9 talks of a strange god inside the heart of a man, and a strange god outside the heart of a man.
We all understand that the strange gods outside of a man are idols in form of various images.
However, most people are not aware that they may also be carrying strange gods inside their bodies.
Your stomach can become a strange god if you find it impossible to abstain from food in other to humble yourself before God in fasting.
Your eyes can become a strange go if you cannot do without feeding it with ungodly content.
If you cannot restrain yourself sexually by mutual consent to fast and pray even as a couple, sex has become a strange god to you.
Your lung has become a strange god if you cannot restrain yourself from narcotic drugs and cigarettes.
Your face can become a strange god if you become too conscious of your looks, and spent too much time on makeup.

Power of God, deliver me from every strange inner gods in Jesus name
