KEY TO MATERIAL PROSPERITY

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day” ( Deut 8:18 ).
A knowledge of God produces material and financial strength. If you know God, you will realize He owns everything – silver, gold, animals, human beings, the heavens and earth. Also, you will discover that there is a key to everything – material, spiritual or intellectual.
Before you can take possession of anything, you must have its key. In Acts 1:8 , Jesus Christ told His disciples shortly before His ascension, of a key they must wait to receive before possessing Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. That key is the power of the Spirit. Without the power to evangelize, there can be no effective possession.
In today’s reading, the Lord told the Israelites of diverse material and financial blessings they can have. But just before they ran along, He told them of a major key to material blessings: That key is the power or anointing for wealth.
Even today, Heaven makes a difference between those with the key and those without it. If you have the power for wealth, anything you touch turns into gold. The job or business you engage in is irrelevant. Even if everyone else has failed in that line, if you venture into it, you will succeed. Many today are asking God to bless them materially instead of asking for the key to wealth.
What’s the difference? If you have the key- the power for wealth, you will have the midas touch- turning isolated or an unimportant job, business or product into gold. Also, the anointing attracts financial and material blessings from the four corners of the world. Moreover, it gives the ability to retain wealth.
Asking for wealth without the anointing for wealth denies you the ability to retain it. Such a fellow would lack the foundation on which to lay his wealth and fortune. Without the anointing for wealth, you may work yourself out before tasting wealth. But with the power for wealth, blessings come with little effort.
What are you asking for? Matthew 7:7 says it is what you ask that you will receive. The power for wealth comes from a knowledge of God. Do you know Him? Draw closer to God daily. Seek His face to know and understand Him. The Lord will give you the key to wealth this season.
The anointing for wealth is the oil that lubricates your wealth machinery. Without it, the machines will grind to a halt. Ask God to service your wealth machine continuously
