Memorise: “Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD” (Obad 4)

Read: Obadiah 1- 4

Heavenly principles are different from earthly ones. If you want to succeed in the Kingdom race, you must be conversant with Kingdom principles. For instance, Luke 6:38 says you may not be given until you give. That thing you are requesting may be delayed because you have failed to give what you should.

Giving in the Kingdom precedes receiving. If you fail to give, don’t expect to receive or you will be acting on pure greed. Nothing comes without a basis. Giving is the basis for which God gives to you. If you do not give, Heaven has no reason to give to you.

Proverbs 11:24 says if you want to increase, first scatter what you have. But if you follow the worldly way by holding tight to what you have, you will suddenly discover that everything has disappeared and you are more impoverished. According to this Kingdom principle, except a corn of wheat falls on the ground and dies, it remains alone.

Until you scatter, you may have to battle with loneliness for a long time. If you want shoes, give out some shoes. Progress in God’s Kingdom is far different from progress in the world. To progress in the world, you need to run, walk, jump, struggle, connect with those in authority who can assist.Image result

But Isaiah 40:28-31 says to progress in the Kingdom, you need to wait on the Lord. If you know this principle, you will realize that you can achieve more by spending more time with God before any attempt.

When last did you wait on the Lord? When last did you set yourself apart just to worship Him, and thank Him without making any fresh request? The greatest blessings are for worshippers. Another Kingdom principle is that if you want God to exalt or promote you, do not go about trying to make unnecessary impressions, but humble yourself.

The extent you want to rise should be the extent of your descent. Humility is strength. You don’t lose anything by being humble. In fact, it is the proud who loses. The humble retains everything he has and gains more.

Today, even Christian leaders are fighting for recognition. A senior pastor got to one of the parishes in his charge one day and met the parish pastor preaching. Because the parish pastor did not abandon the Word, come downstairs to usher him into the church, not long after, he removed him from heading the parish. Is that what Christ taught? To be successful, stick with Kingdom principles!

Search the scriptures, identify and adopt Kingdom principles to regulate your daily living.
