Commentary on Matthew 28: Galilee of breakthrough
- Jesus rose from the grave and proceeded to Galilee to be seen by men, (Matthew 28 vs. 7) – Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” God shall bring you out of the grave to a Galilee when all men shall see your new glory.
- The ministry of Jesus that was crucified on the cross resurrected at Galilee (Matthew 28 vs. 10) – Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” God shall bring you to your Galilee of resurrection.
- The disciples who fled from Jesus during his trial gathered at mount Galilee to worship resurrected Jesus (Matthew 28 vs. 17) – When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Those who have abandoned or forsaken shall return to honour at your Galilee of breakthrough.
- Jesus announced he has received all powers in heaven and earth (Matthew 28 vs. 18) – Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Your promotion shall be announced on Galilee.
