Demonic Component of Cheating - Divorce Minister

When I speak of the demonic and cheating, I want to be clear. I do NOT believe or support the idea of a cheater being a mere victim of the demonic. Cheaters ACTIVELY partner with darkness.
Yet I believe the demonic IS in operation when cheating is involved!
“Let’s separate so that we both can heal,” says Cheater.
“She is ‘just’ a friend. I can still still have friends, right?!” says Cheater.
“It [the affair] was just a cry for help,” says Cheater.
These are common words coming from the mouths of cheaters. They are so common that some of us have heard the exact same words come out of the mouths of our own respective cheater. This is why I believe in the demonic element here…
The same abusive, lame lies are being utilized to brutalize faithful spouses the world over. That strikes me as coordinated evil. It is demonic.
Cheaters are still responsible, though, for partnering with this evil. They could have chosen the path of truth and repentance. Instead, they double down on their sin and spout these evil lies. Cheaters partner and agree with the demonic realm by promulgating these lies.
Their choice to partner with darkness and lies does not mean we have to be taken in by the lies. WE, the faithful spouse or supporter, can stand on truth and reject the lies.
Cheaters may believe their lies, but we do not have to agree or believe them, ourselves. That is the power we each always have. We get to choose our own beliefs.
