Devotion: Enemies of the cross

Posted on March 1, 2014 Updated on February 26, 2014

The Bible talks about enemies of the cross. What makes one become an enemy of the corss?

Philippians 4 vs. 18-19 – 18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Who are enemies of the cross?

  1. Those who persecute Christians .
  2. Anti-christ – unbelievers
  3. Atheists.
  4. Those who trust in themselves, their power, wealth, and position instead of trusting in God
  5. Worldly people
