Experience the Flow of the Spirit Daily

The throne of God and the Lamb cannot be separated from the flow of the river of water of life. If we want the flow, we must be under the throne. This is our foretaste of New Jerusalem.

New JerusalemWe Christians should experience the flow of the Divine Trinity every day. Every morning after rising up we need to say, “Lord, thank You for a new day for me to take You as my Lord. I subject myself under Your headship for the whole day. Lord, set up Your throne in my life….Bring my whole day with my daily life under Your throne.” If you would offer such a prayer to the Triune God every morning, from that moment you would have the living water flowing within you. This living water flowing is the flow of the Triune God….He flows in you as the One who purposed, as the One who redeemed, and as the One who is the life-giving Spirit.*     126

First Corinthians 12:13 tells us that we “were all given to drink one Spirit.” Just as daily drinking of physical water is necessary for a healthy human life, so also drinking the Spirit every day is needed for our Christian life. This drinking of the Spirit is why the Spirit flows today and flows as the eternal river in New Jerusalem.

Isaiah 12 declares to us, “Therefore you will draw water with rejoicing from the springs of salvation.” This chapter also says we will give thanks to the Lord, call on His name, make His deeds known, sing psalms, and more. This is to drink the Spirit. I believe we will be drinking in all these ways even in New Jerusalem.
