Francis and Lisa Chan Make An Awesome Music Video — I.N.F.O. For Families

I love me some Francis Chan. Always have. But I think I just discovered another reason to like him all the more.

Francis and his wife Lisa have recently made a fun music video to promote their new book You and Me Forever: Marriage In Light of Eternity. The book releases this week and I highly recommend it.

For those who aren't committed enough to read an entire book (even though it's pretty short), at least take three minutes to watch their video. It's a catchy song and a fun way to get some encouragement to keep working at your marriage, even through tough times.

Listen for outstanding theological nuggets of wisdom such as: "If angry hobbits boiled you in stew, I'd stop the world and melt with you."

And this declaration of hope: "If life gives us lemons, let's make lemonade. And if life gives us a marching band, let's have a parade."

It's not deep, but it's true. And fun. Enjoy...

Sehnsucht in the Blue Ridge Mountains — Nicole O'Meara

Sehnsucht is hard to put into words, as can be seen in my painfully limited ability to describe what I felt at a vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some call it joy. Some called it wistful longing for something you can’t explain. It has been called melancholy and nostalgia. It is all of that, and mo
