Wow, Alisa you're always hosting such timely, relevant interviews, including this one with Josh Morris. I love how he thought Greg Koukl's book "Relativism: Feet Planted Firmly in Mid-Air" was going to help him *defend* relativism to his parents(!). The "mid-air" phrase is Francis Schaeffer's—and it's amazing how Schaeffer influenced a generation and his thought legacy continues to lead disaffected young people back to Christ. There are many twentysomethings I would love to be able to influence back to real Christianity.
This is where apologetics really shines in our time: for the faithful, it's a defense against modern forms of deception, but it's also a lifeboat (your metaphor!) for those who have been taken captive by modernity.
