14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. 15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

Long  before the affair happens, it begins in the heart of the Cheater. This is what this passage from James tells us. Temptation only works if the evil desire is already in the heart of the future sinner.

This means affairs can only be rooted out by rooting out those evil desires in the heart of the (potential) Cheater.

So many in Christian circles do not understand this. They follow the world’s philosophy on these matters.

Discussions are made around fixing the marriage relationship as opposed to doing the heart work needed to truly fix the spiritual root problem.

That said, I have no problem with learning better communication skills or other basic relationship skills. BUT THAT WON’T ADDRESS ADULTERY PROBLEMS!!!

The only way to truly address the adultery issue is to the address the evil desires in the heart of the Cheater. This is the root per Scripture. Without this focus, you are wasting everyone’s time. In fact, Satan and the demonic hope you focus elsewhere so that they can continue destroying.
