God's word is solid. - Divorce Minister
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
-Hebrews 13:4, NIV
I get this feeling. Sometimes, it feels like your Cheater does not miss a beat discarding you on their way to an even more sparkly life.
Somehow, they are able to get promoted, make more money, and start another family while you are struggling to simply survive. It is unjust!
To this, I will point to the Bible and God’s promise of judgment. It is not a “maybe” in this verse out of Hebrews 13–
“…God WILL judge the adulterer…” (emphasis mine).
Now, I do not presuppose to say how this comes about for your Cheater. It may not happen in this life. However, rest assured that they are God’s problem, and God is not pleased with how they abused you through cheating.
Finally, the judgment might be simply being themselves. I would never want to be the sort of person that could betray my spouse in such a way and behave as if nothing happened. It is the ultimate living of a lie. That’s not the type of person I would ever want to be, yet that is what your Cheater is.
