He is BIG-November Monthly SCRIPT-TIME

Hey LE Family,  November is here and I don’t know about you but I have been defiantly been asking  God for some BIG things. So many situations that can often seem hopeless to us,  is absolutely nothing for God. These situations can be relationships and people we love, our health and wealth.

Which leads to this months Scripture.

18 The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.

He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord,[a] do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.”

“Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”

So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs[b] of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”

Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it. He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.

“Where is your wife Sarah?” they asked him.

“There, in the tent,” he said.

10 Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. 11 Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

13 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

15 Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.”

What is your personal reflection of this passage? read the passage again slowly and hear what it is saying to you?

Reflection:

Fill this space with your thoughts…..

for example:

It is important to hang on to Gods word, He never lies! God promised Sarah that she would have a son, even in her old age, God did just that and Sarah became a mother.

God often tells us of great things He is going to do within our lives and that of our friends, family and loved one. These are things that are contry to what we are seeing at the time, however, if God said it trust it…..He will show up as nothing is to big for Him.  Even if it is laughable to myself and others.

What are your personal actions for this new season, what has God said to you personally through this scripture?

Whatever you need to do, do it!

Fill this space ith your actions…

eg.

Trust Gods word

Read the bible more and take hope from those who God has already showed up for.

Even if I am scared, I will trust in Gods plans just as Sarah did.

Send up your own personal prayer, remeber prayer is the time when you talk to God, doesnt have to be fancy 🙂

Prayer:

Dead God, Thank you for your love and grace. Forgive me when I doubted you and the things that you can do.

Lord I pray that you show up in my life and thoes connected to me this week, Lord I pray that you carry out a BIG BLESSING. That only you can do.
