The unsaved are in darkness and do not know that they are in sin because they have never seen the light. You have seen the light. You are in the light. Dear believer, you are the light of the earth!
Which light is guiding you today?
What did Jesus say was the work of the Holy Spirit?
He would reprove the world of;
- Sin | so they believe in Jesus
- Righteousness | they may know the work of Jesus
- Judgement |the devil will be judged
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
You are called, the light of the earth
Our purpose is to share the truth while The Holy Spirit convicts them of their true state. Many young believers think themselves unworthy to share the word of God with others. The truth is, you are unworthy and that’s why you need to share the gospel with others.
As a believer, what can we do? Help those we love around us, still in darkness, to understand the true state of mankind. How sin has caused corruption, and God’s righteousness alone can save us from the impending judgement.
We need to preach about the depravity of sin, need for righteousness and final judgement, without which our work as believers is incomplete. It is not for us to judge. The work of conviction, of sin, happens when we speak the Word of God. The Holy Spirit saves them as per God’s will and plan.
Love the word of God. Let it take deep root in our hearts so we naturally speak the language of heaven. Prepare yourself to meet Jesus. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
