1 Corinthians 3 vs 16

 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

  1. The spirit of lust is always at war against every man and woman.
  2. There is hardly anyone who does not need to fight against sexual lust at one point in their life. What Does 1 Corinthians 3:16 Mean?
  3. The reason is that lust gratifies the flesh, and the body derives pleasure in lust.
  4. The flesh always wants to touch and see.
  5. So, if you have lustful desire, do not condemn yourself. All you need to do is to strive to overcome it.
  6. Since lust glorifies the flesh, you can only overcome it by glorifying your spirit-man, and this comes by fasting, prayers, and addiction to the word of God.
