Surely, you need to learn how to take action on your goals. Believe me, it’s something you need to learn. Many entrepreneurs I have interacted with don’t understand the need for this simple principle.

The truth is that until you take action on your business goals, you will not be able to tap into the blessings of God upon your life and business. You won’t be able to get the required results that will bring profits and growth to you and your business. I have benefitted immensely by taking action in business over the years.

How to take action on your goals: Let us learn from Daniel

Daniel, from the passage below, reached a Godly decision in his heart and also followed it up with the physical action required to get the result of his desire. What you are about to learn from this story will show you how to take action on your goals to get the required results.

Please read the passage (I am sure you’re familiar with the story)

NKJV Bible. Daniel 1:8-9

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.

A simple analysis of this Daniel story

Now, I want you to check out in the checklist below the benefit of taking action on your goals:

  1. Daniel purposed in his heart not to eat of the king’s food.
  2. God, probably unknown to Daniel, took the action of bringing him and his friends into favor before the chief of the eunuchs.
  3. Daniel followed up his heart decision with action by making a request.

What would have happened if Daniel had not taken a physical action? The favor God had given him with the chief of the eunuchs wouldn’t have found expression.

How Christians don’t take action on their business ideas

I have interacted with lots of Christians who have great ideas and they have purposed in their hearts to work on the ideas but have stopped at the level of the ideas on paper. They have failed to take action.

They have failed to ask the relevant people for help, advice, support. They have failed to take the first step of actions on their paper plan. They have continued to wish and wish, plan, and plan without taking concrete action on their goals.

God’s blessings and the favor He has granted them are not finding expressions because they are not taking physical action on their business ideas. The ideas only remain on paper and at this state and stage, it will never benefit them or profit them.

I took action on a business idea

I took the action of writing my first book in mathematics (you need to look at that first edition and compare it to the other editions). I just wrote and then just printed it and then just began to sell and distribute it.

All other things began to fall into place. I have written and published lots of books since then and we even run a publishing company today. All because I took action on a single business idea.

If you are finding it difficult taking actions on ideas or acting on divine instructions from God, the Visionary Business Project is meant for you.
