How to Tell Others About Jesus - Enjoying the Journey

Do you know how to tell others about Jesus? Every Christian is to be a witness of the Christ who lives in them! Yet most believers have a difficult time knowing where to begin and how to effectively share their faith.

New Series!

We are dedicating the coming week on Enjoying the Journey to encouraging and equipping our listeners to become personal witnesses. There is no magic formula or secret equation. Our goal is not to teach a new “presentation” but to learn how to have a conversation about the most important thing in the world – a relationship with Christ.

This short study will examine key Scriptures and emphasize different aspects of giving the gospel:

  • Can I Get Personal?
  • Talking to Religious People
  • Helping Broken People
  • Pointing Sinners to Jesus
  • Looking for Divine Appointments

A First for ETJ

The daily broadcast is usually audio only, but this special series will be available in a video format as well. I would like to invite you to join me in my study, where all of the ETJ episodes are recorded, as we open the Word of God together. You can listen or watch on our YouTube channel, the Podbean platform, or on your regular podcast player.

Please don’t miss this emphasis week and encourage others to join our study! We are praying that God will help us all to become more faithful, more fervent, and more fruitful witnesses of Jesus. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).

No Matter How Long You Live... - Enjoying the Journey

(Ecclesiastes 6:3-6) Your life is not measured by length but by depth. In other words, it’s not the number of years you live that matters, but the substance of those years. Very few things actually matter in the grand scheme of life. (09163250707)

The Gift of God - Enjoying the Journey

(Ecclesiastes 5:18-6:2) Sadly, many of us are so accustomed to blessings that we are neglecting the Blesser. We revel in the gifts without rejoicing in the Giver. Remember, all that you have was given to you by God, and much of it will fade away! (09161250704)

What Money Cannot Buy - Enjoying the Journey

(Ecclesiastes 5:9-17) Our true riches are what we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. The stock market of today ebbs and flows, but heaven’s economy is as stable as God’s character. Money cannot provide you joy, peace, or even purpose, but He can. (09160250703)

The guide strapped all passengers into the tiny boats and gave last minute instructions. Of course there were life preservers, but what good would they do in the fierce rapids that threatened to suck its prey below the surface? Read more...
