Is Romans 10:10 an After-Report? (Genesis) | "Heart + Unto" study in the KJB Video #1/40

There is a heresy that the vocalization in Romans 10:9 is purely an after-report. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Oh sorry, not that verse. That contradicts their belief; they want a vaguer one.

Romans 10:10: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Robert Breaker: "Then, we will confess that we got it. Confession is what comes after the fact. Confession isn't what makes the thing happen. Confession is, the thing happened, let me confess it.

My wife makes some cookies. She says, 'Don't steal the cookies.' She walks to the bathroom. She's not looking, she's gone. I run, I eat a cookie.

An hour goes by. She comes back, she says, 'Who ate the cookie?'

I confess I ate the cookie. Did I eat the cookie an hour later when I confessed, or did it take place already? Now I'm confessing unto the fact that I ate the cookie. That's what I'm doing.

So, confession is made unto salvation means, according to scripture, that when you are saved by believing from the heart, then you confess: 'I believe the gospel. I believe the death, burial, resurrection, shed blood uh for our sins according to the scriptures, how He died, I'm trusting in the blood.' That is salvation.

When you believe, then you confess. Then you say, 'And I have believed it.'"

The heresy teaches that “unto” means an after-report They say that the “unto” in Romans 10 is the definitive evidence for this.

If “unto” somehow means an after-report, this should be easily verifiable. Because if this were true (it is not), we should see hundreds of times in the scripture where “unto” is being used as an after-report.

There are 199 verses from Genesis to Revelation which use “heart” and “unto” in the same verse. This series of studies will cover each 'heart + unto' in every book of the Bible as an individual video to see if that book's "heart + unto" is or isn't an after-report.

Starting with Genesis.

Genesis 17:17: "Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?"

That is easy, that is obvious. "Unto" would be illogical as an after-report.

Genesis 18:6: "And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth."

Again, not an after-report.

Genesis 20:5: "Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this."

Said he not (after-report) unto me. Seems logical. (Sarcasm)

Genesis 20:6: "And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her."

So, after God said it to him, God said unto him, as a confession to talking to him? That does not seem like it makes a lot of sense.

Genesis 24:45: "And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down unto the well, and drew water: and I said unto her, Let me drink, I pray thee."

"Unto" is not used as an after-report or a cookie.

Genesis 42:28: "And he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were afraid, saying one to another, What is this that God hath done unto us?"

I do not even have anything to say; the idea that this is a cookie is illogical.
