Just Say No

There's a two letter word that's easily heard
When temptation comes your way
If you think you may stray
Just remember to say
That two letter word N-O!
In the Monopoly Card game there is a card called "Just Say No!" If another player tries to steal your property or make you pay money, you can put this card down. The Just Say No card cancels their action against you.
We need to use this card for the 'game' of life! There are many times we need to just say no.

I don't like to say no! For me it's a real weakness that I am learning to overcome.

I remember a person calling on the phone once, asking for money for the charity they were representing. I didn't want to give them money, but I didn't want to say no. So, to get out of saying no, I asked them to send me a pamphlet about it and then I would decide. They presumed then that I was going to give them money. So they sent me a pamphlet. A while later, I got a reminder in the mail. Then somebody rung up to see if I was still going to pay. If  I had just said no, I would have missed a lot of hassle! 

The Bible teaches us to say no to sin.

Proverbs 1:10 says "My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not."

In another words, if people try and tempt you to do wrong, just say no!

As a teenage girl you must learn to just say no.

Say No to anything that is wrong

Say Yes to Jesus all day long.
