Welcome to our ‘Charity of the Month’ page. This just might be the most important page of them all!
Bill and I both are big believers in supporting various charities – missions, ministries, worthy causes and families in need just to name a few. A couple of his favorites are Union Mission and the FoodBank.
No matter how much need we have in our own lives – it’s important to remember that we are so richly blessed! Our needs compared to so many who are suffering the unimaginable in this world are insignificant.
How This Works
Recently, after I had been spending some time in prayer, the idea for featuring a charity each month dropped into my spirit. (Thank you Holy Spirit – you always have the best ideas!)
Because giving back to charity is so critically important to us – I am donating a minimum of 10% from each sale on my website to the charity of the month.
Whether you purchase directly from me with a product I sell or click through an affiliate link here on Wholeness Haven – you will be donating to charity too. You will be changing lives.
When it comes to charity – no amount is too small. Every bit we do for them counts. Don’t think for a second your $1 or $5 contributions don’t add up. Imagine: If all of us felt we couldn’t do enough to make a difference and stopped giving, what then?

Charity Navigator, the organization that rates the trustworthiness of charities rates them as highly trustworthy.
Good hygiene is critical in this time of the COVID-19 global pandemic, especially in vulnerable communities. We have already distributed thousands of kits to local shelters, healthcare facilities, school districts, faith-based programs, food pantries, public safety organizations, and more. And, the simple reality is, we need more to keep pace with this unprecedented demand.

Doctors Without Borders: Medical Care Where It’s Needed Most
Covid-19, social distancing, stay safe – stay home: these are all phrases many of us wish we’d never heard. Many families and individuals have been deeply affected by this pandemic.
Doctors Without Borders is a worthy organization. They provide medical care in times of need and/or tragedy. They put their lives at risk to save ours.
Lets be thankful together for all of the medical workers and essential workers who have kept us safe and supplied in very unusual times!
March 2020 Charity of the Month
Matthew 25: Ministries is an incredible blessing to this world!
In times of disaster, they are there. Poverty? They’re there.
Since 1991, this ministry has shipped more than 170,000,000 pounds of supply aid to into more than 60 countries worldwide.
One of the things I love most about this ministry? They reduce waste! By going around to corporations and businesses who simply throw out what they don’t need – Matthew 25 reuses and repurposes these supplies for the good for those in need!

February 2020 Charity of the Month
In my family, we have been supporting Samaritan’s Purse for many years. This charity has done an extraordinary amount of good in so many people’s lives.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, celebrated during this month, what better way to show love than to share the love of Jesus Christ?

Established in 1979, this amazing charity has provided more than $17 billion in aid to more than 164 countries.
Americares is here to provide care for those affected by poverty, natural disasters and public health crises.

December 2019 Charity of the Month
This wonderful charity does what it says it will do. Their aim is to improve the lives of precious people living with Cystic Fibrosis.
Established in 1955, CFF fights for finding a cure and ways to control this debilitating disease.

November 2019 Charity of the Month
In November, we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the United States. As we gather together to enjoy our favorite dishes, we must remember that not everyone has food to eat.
Across the globe, hunger is a very real threat to the lives of our fellow human beings. So many go without, day after lonely, miserable day.
Feeding America tries to change that tragedy. With local food banks across the USA – people are fed each and every day.

Polaris Project was founded in 2002. Their slogan is “Freedom happens now.” Their aim is to end human trafficking and slavery of all kinds.
Polaris uses data-driven strategies to prevent and disrupt human trafficking, a $150 billion industry that robs 25 million around the world of their freedom.
No human being deserves to be a slave to any other human being. Each of us were created in the image of God with a purpose and a plan for our lives. Lets help these precious people be free to live their truth! ♥
