Thankful Thought of the Day:

When we thank God for the people surrounding us, we cover them with His grace.

Scripture of the Day:

1 Timothy 2:1-2 “First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, 2 even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”

Heard a great sermon today in church about not just having a grateful attitude, but expressing it to those in our lives. Everyone needs to be appreciated – it helps to spur us on in the work God has called us to. But giving thanks for others is not just for their ears. When we thank God for the people surrounding us, we cover them with His grace.

Thanking God for people we often take for granted changes our hearts, too.
