Christ gave His neverending love sacrificially without expecting anything in return.

“Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever.”
In the end times, the love of most will grow cold (Matthew 24:12). We all hope that we have found a love on this earth that lasts forever, but we also know that our time here is short. But a love that crosses through time and intervenes our sinful condition? Unheard of. At least among men. But Christ came to show us this love of God – steadfast, immovable, unconditional, faithful, enduring.
When we save we love someone, we often speak of our feelings in the moment. We love because others give us something. It might be joy, acceptance, attention or love. But the love Christ expressed went far beyond feelings – though He loves us with an everlasting, eternal love – He gave His neverending love sacrificially without expecting anything in return.
