Habakkuk 2 verse 2 – 4
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
- There are basic steps the Bible recommended for vision planning.
- These steps are contained in Habakkuk 2 vs 2-4
- First, write out your vison. Your vision cannot be in your head.
- Translate your vision to a statement by writing, typing, or printing it but…
- Writing it out helps you to read it, remember it, believe it, review it, and run with it for the year.
- Second, turn your vision ideas to vision statement, and paste it openly on the wall, notice board, or make it a poster so that everyone can read it.
- A vision statement guides you and once it is written out becomes your policy statement.
- Third, run with your vision. Develop an action plan to implement it.
- Running with your vision means doing something about it daily.
- Fourth, be patient about the fulfilment of your vision.
- Every vision takes time to fulfil. A seed does not grow into maturity overnight
- Fifth, do not lose hope when your vision does not come to pass soon.
- Every godly vision takes time to mature. Don’t be swayed by the storms and tribulations.
- There is a waiting period for every vision. Wait, because the waiting time will soon be over.
- Hold on to the vision by faith. You can only enter your future by faith.
- Believe in God that your vision will surely be fulfil.
