You cry out, “Why doesn’t the Lord accept my worship?” I’ll tell you why! Because the Lord witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young. But you have been unfaithful to her, though she remained your faithful partner, the wife of your marriage vows.

-Malachi 2:14, NLT

It is like asking for a break from being an adult. This is such a foolish request and sort of a confession, actually. They want to live as if they are not married–i.e. cheat without feeling guilty.

Cheaters requesting “a break” from the marriage are telling on themselves.

They are telling us that they do not have integrity. A person of integrity does not request a period where they are not accountable for their freely chosen vows–i.e. “a break.” They stand by their vows regardless of how hard that is because they value their own integrity. But Cheaters don’t.

The request also exposes a marked immaturity:

They are behaving as if they are dating like a teenager as opposed be being an adult in a marriage. In other words, you can take “a break” with a dating relationship. Marriage doesn’t work that way.

It’s not a “break up.” It’s called “divorce.” And there are LEGAL consequences to the later.

Guess the Cheater is asking to experience reality the hard way:

Want “a break” and to live as if not married?

Ok. Thanks for outing yourself as an immature Cheater and Quitter. You’ll soon find via the lawyer “a break” in marriage come with consequences–i.e. they call it “divorce.”
