One Thing To Do When You’re Single & Tired of Waiting

Have you ever been single and felt tired of waiting for Mr. Right to come along?

It gives you that whole, “Sex and the City” vibe where Charlotte shrieks out in frustration, “I’ve been dating since I was fifteen, I’m exhausted, where is he?!”

I get it, girl. I feel like at some point in every single woman’s life, there’s the mystery of wondering if and when Mr. Right will actually come along. So it’s no surprise if you were browsing through the internet and happened to find this post. In fact, I created this post for that exact reason: To let you (and others!) know that you are not alone in this struggle!

But oh, does it get interesting if you’re a Christian and feel these feelings! Believe it or not, there are many people out there who believe that they are “not allowed” to feel these longings because their hope and peace on the matter should be coming from God.

When you actually come to terms with the fact that you ARE a single Christian who IS tired of waiting for your love life to get started then you’re met with all sorts of guilt, confusion, and quite possibly conviction. But it shouldn’t be the case.

The reason why is because God knows your heart better than anyone. And while the world may be telling you how to feel and how your faith works with God, the fact of the matter is that no one can tell you how/what to feel and whether your faith with God is real or not.

Yes, you absolutely should be bringing your worries and cares to God on a regular basis. Yes, God wants us all to have a genuine relationship with Him. So naturally, if you’ve been going to him regarding Mr. Right and getting in the right relationship (you know, the one you’ve been praying about!) and it doesn’t happen for a while… this should only make you wanna draw closer to God! Not turn from Him because of what you think He’ll say or feel!

No matter what you’re struggling with, God always wants you to come to Him! Even if it concerns your love life.

There is NOTHING wrong with desiring to have a husband and to one day get married! Even in the Bible scriptures show us that God Himself said to Adam, “It is not good for you to be alone.” The desire to want to be with someone is natural and normal.

Here’s when it gets tricky. When you’re longing for love to enter your life and the wait causes you to grow offended at God. Or, the wait can reduce your trust and hope in Him… That’s when you gotta check your heart and do something about it!

When you find yourself sitting in that place, and being single and tired of waiting is really getting the best of you, then there’s not a whole lot that you can do… But there is one thing. In this video, I’m gonna share what that one thing is that could help you when you’re growing weary of the wait!
