Our Hearts and The Spirits Who Live Within

Our Hearts and The Spirits Who Live Within... Our hearts are homes for spirits—some good, some evil.

When a heart stands empty, evil spirits come looking for rest. They whisper through anger, shame, jealousy, greed, lust, pride, fear, and deceit, shaping how we think and speak. These spirits accuse, divide, and demand, feeding on bitterness and selfish desire.

But when God’s Holy Spirit fills our hearts, He produces a different kind of fruit—love instead of hate, peace instead of turmoil, patience instead of irritation, kindness instead of cruelty, faith instead of doubt, and self-control instead of indulgence. The Spirit’s presence brings light where darkness once lived, truth where lies once ruled, and joy where despair once settled.

A heart filled with the Holy Spirit leaves no room for evil to dwell.
