Prayers for the New Year 2025
Thank you to all our readers and subscribers, and a special thank you to those who support our work here at the Praying Through the Bible Project. We have some new offerings and are excited about the prayer studies and more that we’ll be unveiling this year.
Here’s a few prayers you can use for the beginning of the new year.
Heavenly Father,
Reveal Your purpose for my life in this new year and guide me in fulfilling the plans You have for me.
Help me to focus on what truly matters and to pursue the calling You have placed on my heart.
May I bring glory to Your name in all that I do and find joy in serving You wholeheartedly.
Thank You, Lord, for equipping me to walk in my divine purpose.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear Lord, I stand in awe of Your greatness as I look forward to this new year. I pray that Your hand of blessing rests upon me and all those I hold dear. May Your peace reign in my heart, and may I remain focused on the path You have set before me. Please grant me the courage to face any challenges and the grace to grow from each experience. Bless my relationships, my health, and my finances. Fill me with hope and purpose as I walk into this new year with faith in Your promises. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I come before You at the dawn of this new year, asking for renewal in my heart, mind, and spirit. Wash away the weariness of the past year and fill me with fresh hope, strength, and purpose. Revive my faith and help me see new possibilities where I once saw obstacles. I long for a deeper connection with You, so renew my devotion and commitment to walking in Your ways. May this year be a time of spiritual growth and transformation, as I surrender all to You. Amen.
