Prayers to overcome fear of death

Luke 13:10-13 : American Standard Version (ASV)

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath day. And behold, a woman that had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years; and she was bowed together, and could in no wise lift herself up.

And when Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands upon her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

Jesus went ahead to preach in the synagogue on a sabbath day and there He met a woman who had been bent over for eighteen years as a result of an infirmity .Jesus at that moment had compassion upon her and reached out to her and healed her. You, just like this woman may have been bent over for years.

You have been crippled by your fears, you have been crippled physically by an ailment in your body or you have been crippled by a certain indulgence and this has distorted your life.

This woman because of her state could not look anyone in the eyes for eighteen years, she could not stretch to pick something that is higher than her height because she was bent over.

This could be your tale for years, you ‘ve not been able to reach out, you have not been able to stretch to achieve your desires and goals at a higher level, you’ve not been able to stand straight to look at situations in the eye and overcome them, all because you are bent over by an infirmity.

I have good news for you today, Jesus is in the House and He is calling out to you as He did the woman. He wants to heal you of your infirmity. He wants to make you whole, he wants to give you reason to maximize your potentials. He wants to straighten you up. HE is calling to you today.

As you come to Him, He will not despise you, He will not condemn you rather He will stretch forth His hands and say to you: YOU ARE LOOSED FROM YOUR INFIRMITY! and your healing will come.
Do not delay your salvation. Call on Him immediately and let Him do a work in you. Repent of your sins and let Him give you a new life.

Do you want to be reconciled with God, through Jesus the Lord and Saviour? Then say this simple prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and have fallen short of your glory.

I genuinely repent from all my sins and pledge to go and sin no more. I accept your plan to reconcile mankind to you through Jesus Christ, who you sent in your name. I believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, and died on the Cross to pay the penalty for my sins and redeem me.

I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I pray that His blood washes my sins away. I invite the Holy Spirit to rule my Life. I am born again in Jesus name.
