Genesis 33  vs 9

And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

Genesis 33:9-20 KJV - And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

  1. Jacob stole Esau’s birthright and ran away.
  2. Jacob stole Esau’s blessings and ran away.
  3. Jacob collected their father’s blessings reserved for Esau and ran away.
  4. Isaac pronounced Esau would serve his younger brother and died.
  5. Esau was doomed to poverty, slavery and servitude, but changed his story by using his sword as Isaac prophesied to break the yoke of subordination to Jacob.
  6. When Jacob returned from exile and offered gifts to Esau, Esau initially rejected it and said, ‘ I have enough’- Gen. 33 vs 9
  7. God blessed Esau, and he eventually had enough.
  8. Jacob also confessed that God had blessed him, and he said to Esau, ‘I have enough’- Gen. 33 vs 11
  9. God will give you the blessings of I have enough in Jesus’ name.

Prayer

  • I receive enough blessings from heaven in Jesus’ name.
