Genesis 33 vs 9
And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.
- Jacob stole Esau’s birthright and ran away.
- Jacob stole Esau’s blessings and ran away.
- Jacob collected their father’s blessings reserved for Esau and ran away.
- Isaac pronounced Esau would serve his younger brother and died.
- Esau was doomed to poverty, slavery and servitude, but changed his story by using his sword as Isaac prophesied to break the yoke of subordination to Jacob.
- When Jacob returned from exile and offered gifts to Esau, Esau initially rejected it and said, ‘ I have enough’- Gen. 33 vs 9
- God blessed Esau, and he eventually had enough.
- Jacob also confessed that God had blessed him, and he said to Esau, ‘I have enough’- Gen. 33 vs 11
- God will give you the blessings of I have enough in Jesus’ name.
Prayer
- I receive enough blessings from heaven in Jesus’ name.
