TEXT: NUMBERS 16: 1-28, GENESIS 45: 1-8, 50:15-21, LUKE 9:54-56

INTRODUCTION:-
I have discovered that to be a consistent intercessor, one has grow to a certain level as stipulated by Psalm 199 vs 165. You and I have to enter into the level of great peace where we can forgive (not be offended) and plead the cases of people before God.

People who cause harm, hurts and provoke us or even sin against God need to be reconciled to God. So, the best way to help them out is to intercede for them. If like Dothan, Abiram and Korah, they decide to perish ( because they refuse to repent like others (Numbers 16:2, 26-27), then you would have done the will of God.

We can see how intercession born out of compassion and love for enemies’ by Joseph and Moses saved many lives. Let us take cue from Lord Jesus Christ according to Luke 9:54-55.

He will help us in Jesus name.

Questions:-
1. Describe the responses of both Joseph and Moses to the hatred and jealousy exhibited by their haters. Genesis 45:1-8, Numbers 16:2-26
2. How did God fight for Joseph and Moses? Does He still do same today?
3. From Luke 9; 54-55, what should be our attitude towards people who do not favour our righteous course? Numbers 16:22-24, Genesis 50:17-21
4. Compare the end of the intercessor with that of his/her enemies

MEMORY VERSE: 9:55…..55 but he turned, and rebuke them, and said ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 for the son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. Any they went to another village.

Sehnsucht in the Blue Ridge Mountains — Nicole O'Meara

Sehnsucht is hard to put into words, as can be seen in my painfully limited ability to describe what I felt at a vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some call it joy. Some called it wistful longing for something you can’t explain. It has been called melancholy and nostalgia. It is all of that, and mo
