Start Your Year With the Bible - Enjoying the Journey

Shortly, we will begin a new year…2024! The best way to start your year is to begin with the Bible. January is a natural time to start again in your reading of Scripture. Many believers look for ideas they can implement to keep their time in God’s Word fresh.
Would you like to take your devotional life to the next level? We would like to invite you to join us for a special Enjoying the Journey seminar on the first Saturday of 2024. “Start Your Year with the Bible” will be conducted by Scott Pauley on Saturday, January 6, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. All sessions will be taught in the Governor’s Theatre at the Tamarack. The Tamarack is located just off of I-64/I-77 in Beckley, WV.
Four sessions will cover a variety of aspects of our relationship to Scripture:
- Learn how to read your Bible more effectively.
- Find practical ways to study the Word of God.
- Receive helpful tips for teaching the Bible to others – in your home, church, or Bible study group.
- Discover the secret of connecting your prayers to Scripture.
Individuals and groups are welcome. The event is free but seating is limited. You may register now to reserve your place at enjoyingthejourney.org/seminar. Bring a ready mind, an open heart, and something to take notes! A beautiful Enjoying the Journey journal will be available for purchase. This journal would be a wonderful tool to use devotionally in the new year.
General Schedule:
- 10:00 – Session 1
- 11:00 – Session 2
- 12:00 – Lunch. The Tamarack cafeteria, “A Taste of West Virginia” serves a variety of meal options, prepared by Greenbrier trained chefs. Those attending the event will receive a 10% discount.
- 1:15 – Session 3
- 2:15 – Session 4
