2 Samuel 24 vs 1

Again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.

The Bible says the anger of God rose against Israel, and God moved them to commit a mistake by doing a census of the people.
We see in verses 15 and 16 of that chapter that the people of Israel were destroyed with pestilence as a result of the anger of God.
When God is angry with a person, this causes the person to make mistakes.
The anger of God leads to destruction.
So, it is better to avoid things that will cause God’s anger.
