The Divine Fruit God is After

    The Desired Fruit

The fruit of the Spirit is not spouse control or staff control or environmental control; it is self-control. (Neil Anderson, Gal. 5:23).

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

    Confession Time

I have in the past been a very bossy person, especially when I’m keyed up or worried about something, like not catching a plane. My husband, on the other hand, stays relaxed. He just doesn’t get excited about all the possible disasters in our future.

So Neil Anderson’s saying challenges me.

Outwardly I now have pretty good self-control. But a bad-attitude thunderstorm can erupt within me with little warning. You see, I sometimes forget God directs my steps (Proverbs 16:9 NASB)..

I can’t control my circumstances and i certainly can’t control other people.

I need to trust in the One who can.
