Genesis 12 vs 7

And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

1. The Bible says God plagued the house of Pharaoh because Pharaoh took over Sarah, Abraham’s wife.
2. Abraham was afraid of the Egyptians when he migrated to Egypt.
3. Abraham was afraid of the king of Egypt, Pharaoh; who showed interest in Abraham’s beautiful wife- Satah
4. Abraham could not disclose his full identity and that of his wife because of fear of death at the hands of Pharaoh.
5. Pharaoh took over the wife of Abraham (in ignorance), and Abraham looked helplessly.
6. But God fought for Abraham against that which was stronger than him.
7. Abraham repossessed his wife from Pharaoh because God fought for him.

• The God of Abraham shall fight for you against your strong enemies in Jesus’ name.
