Jeremiah 6 verse 16
16 Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein
- The bible advices us to hold on the timeless truth of the word of God
- The bible advices us to follow the original way of salvation
- Modernity and civilization have modernized and civilized the word of God, adulterating it in the process
- The bible warns that the word of God cannot become old fashioned or old school
- The bible warns that the word of God cannot be changed
- The word of God is what God is saying, not what you want to hear
- And the bible says that holding on to the word of God will bring rest to your soul
