The sky is falling…

The sky is falling…
Remember the story, an acorn falls on the head of Chicken Little and she runs to warn everyone that the sky is falling.
Her friends Cocky Locky, Henny Penny and Turkey Lurkey, all follow the warning and off they go to warn the world of impending doom.
Depending on the story you may have heard as a young person, things could end badly for all the characters of this tale. Remember Foxy Woxy?
Does it seem that the world is falling apart? Don’t be a Chicken Little. Don’t go off crying that the world is ending, and all is lost.
Dear Christian, we are the sons and daughters of the resurrection. We are children of the King and we are not to worry about the times or the conditions. We are God’s people.
Read Psalms 23:6
“Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
How many days? The answer can only be “all of your days”.
Even if the sky was to fall and all seems to be lost, we as God’s children will never be lost.
We are not called to be doomsayers, pessimists or Chicken Littles.
So dear Christians, remember Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brethren whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right whatever is pure, whatever is lovely whatever is of good repute if there is any excellence and anything worthy of praise let your mind dwell on these things”.
God’s love for us is good is greater than acorns and bigger than the sky.
