Christian colleges aim to instill in their students an appreciation for the world God made, an understanding of how their faith impacts every aspect of their education, and how to find fulfillment by following God’s Will.

Although Washington, D.C., is best recognized as the U.S. president’s official residence, it is also home to many Christian colleges, all of which adhere to the Catholic faith. The same is true with the educational institutions in Maryland and Virginia.

Mount St. Mary’s University

Georgetown University

Georgetown University is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit university in the United States, founded in the same decade as the Constitution. It is a progressive and inclusive community that values social justice, curiosity, and the unique contributions of all members of society.
