We Are A Divided Nation — But it’s not political — SAMUELDEUTH.COM
People who see our world’s divisions as racial, gender, orientation and political are missing what’s happening. Part of the reason we’re in such confusion as a nation and planet isn’t because of those talking points but it’s much deeper.
The true division of our world is simply between those who follow Jesus and those who don’t.
The division is between those who follow the wisdom of God’s Word versus those who reject God’s way. The division is between those who fight to defend life versus those who fight to be able to take life.
Jesus gives us a good guide for seeing the division. John 10:10 says that the devil’s agenda is to kill, steal and destroy. So, when you see those attributes you can usually trace that back to the devil. Then Jesus says, but I have come that you may have life and have it in abundance and to the fullest. So, we can see that fruit when people are following Jesus.
So, the division isn’t political, it’s spiritual. It’s good versus evil. It’s satan’s agenda pitted against the agenda of Jesus. It’s the worshipers of Jesus divided with the worshippers of Satan. One of the major differences in the two camps is that the followers of Jesus still want to see those on the other side saved and redeemed. But, those in Satan’s camp just want to see those who stand for truth destroyed.
The more you study The Bible and follow Jesus the more your choices will lead to life for you and those around you.
