We Are Fam-i-ly! - A Nighttime Prayer
Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching. – Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
Please Pray:
Lord, we thank You that we do not walk this journey of life alone. Your Spirit sustains us and other Christians encourage and support us as they worship beside us in our churches.
Christians around the world stand shoulder-to-shoulder with us as we carry the gospel message to those who do not know You. What a privilege it is to be part of the larger family of God. However, in this age many churches struggle to stay open as younger generations drift from Your side.
May we be faithful witnesses to our children and grandchildren. May we be living, breathing witnesses of Your grace and love within the walls of our church--and without.
As our pastor often says at the close of a service, these doors are not exits but entrances into a world that needs Jesus. Equip us to respond to Your calling.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
