Weak But Strong

You woke up thinking it might be over today. Your mind is free for the moment, but you fear those dreadful thoughts may come back. It’s your private battle and you can’t talk to anyone about it. They wouldn’t understand. Some days are better, but you’re tired and you don’t know if you can make it through another hour.

Don’t lose heart. You’re not alone. There is someone who knows exactly what you are going through. God tests us for a little while, to prove our faith is genuine and that it be found to praise and honor Him. He knows how much we can bear and at the right time He provides a way out.

The devil wants to sift you as wheat and devour you, so don’t be surprised when your faith is tested as if something strange was happening to you. God is the author and finisher of our faith and He prays for us, that after we have gone through the trial, our faith will not fail. (Luke 22:32)

Commit your soul to Him who is faithful and be thankful, not for the trial but that you’re His child. Remember, you will have peace when your mind stays on Him, because you trust Him. God knows what’s best for you. His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness. So you can say when I am weak, I am strong.

Don’t be afraid. Your battle is now in the open. Stand up and go forward, someone out there needs you, and you know exactly what they’re going through.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all
