What God Is Greater Than The Highs And Lows Sign ‘G>∧∨’ Means In The Bible

Christians around the world are putting this sign “G>∧∨” on their bodies as tattoos and on different apparel. Do you understand the meaning? It reads —God is greater than the highs and lows.

What problem has ever taken charge of  your life that makes you think it’s bigger than God? Perhaps your problems put much weight on you —making you feel like walking through a desert of quicksand. Let me remind you of one simple fact from the Bible; God is bigger than the highs and lows of every situation on this earth and beyond.

If you are troubled — be confident, stay calm and the Lord will never forsake you.

As you find yourself reading this piece of content, it is my heart’s desire to give you the meaning of the sign ‘G>∧∨‘ and its phrase “God is bigger than the highs and the lows” respectively. Here, I will use ‘higher‘ and ‘bigger‘ interchangeably to denote the magnificence of God.

Although we can’t find the exact phrase from the scriptures —it surely depicts the power of God and how He works among His children —especially during difficult times when the turbulence of life strikes hard.

His character as recorded in both the Old and New Testaments reveals His absolute power over everything. He breaks down mountains, subdues His enemies, raises the dead, gives hope to the poor, feeds the widow; exalts and humbles people according to His righteous judgment.

In terms of thoughts, strength, power, wisdom etc, He is incomparable. In all the ups and downs in life, He is ever present to help.

In fact, our Lord does what no human, god or creature could do. He is higher, bigger, stronger and more powerful than anything.

There is a beautiful song entitled “Graves Into Gardens” by Brandon Lake from his album House of Miracles that I like so much.

Within the lyrics, we can find out that indeed, God is bigger than all our troubles. It’s simply inspiring:

“I’m not afraid
To show You my weakness
My failures and flaws
Lord, You’ve seen ’em all
And You still call me friend

‘Cause the God of the mountain
Is the God of the valley
There’s not a place
Your mercy and grace
Won’t find me again”

The Symbol Of God Greater Than The Highs And Lows | G>∧∨

As the very character of God reveals His strength and power over everything, we can all agree that He is bigger than the mountain and any other challenge that comes our way.

It, therefore, looks appropriate to use the simple symbol or code to demonstrate His omnipotence. This code G>∧∨ might seem weird but when you read the caption behind it, you would be amazed and probably thank the one who coined it.

It is very inspirational and heart-touching. The symbol as it looks like a programmer’s html code is actually meant to be understood by everyone —especially those in the Christian fraternity.

Meaning Of God Is Greater Than The Highs And Lows

This symbol of God is greater than the highs and lows means, the Creator of this Universe indeed exercises absolute control over all our problems or situations. That is —whether the situation is pleasant or unpleasant, He supersedes everything with good endings for those who love Him.

The Highs and lows simply represent the turbulence of life. It might be financial problems, diseases and sicknesses, fear, marital issues, death anxiety, health problems etc, God is greater than the ups and downs you may go through. Like a roller coaster, you must learn how to smile and enjoy every movement knowing very well that God is in control.

The symbol gives believers a quick motivation that portrays the omniscience and omnipotence of God.

If you haven’t seen that sign before, you might find it hard to make any meaning from it. Don’t stress yourself thinking so hard to decipher when you stumble on it… Our God is exalted above anything here on earth, in heaven and beyond.

Tattoos About God Is Bigger Than The Highs And Lows

Christians today are obsessed with religious activities and doctrines. Art and crafts cannot be entirely left out in the Christian religion. It is somehow becoming a fashion for the children of God to demonstrate their faith through artwork. However, caution must be taken…

Here, I will discuss with you why I don’t recommend Christians anywhere tattoo their bodies with the “G>∧∨” — God is greater than the highs and lows. Not this sign in particular but whatever religious or non-religious sign or message.

I know this is likely to spark a compelling argument. But let me enlighten you about the temple of God and our spiritual symbol as Christians.

Oh yes, it looks beautiful when you get this sign tattooed on your body, but does that prove one to be a true believer? No of course.

If you already have that tattoo sign on your body, I’m not here to condemn you but if you are yet to have it, I recommend you stop.

Let me now take you through the Bible and explain to you why I don’t fancy tattoos as a Christian.

I’m not here to judge anyone because God’s love covers our weaknesses and a multitude of sins. Whether it is the sign of the cross, Bible verse, religious artifact, names, etc I don’t recommend you emboss then on your body.

If we want to prove to the world that we are true believers of God through Christ Jesus, it must come from our hearts and actions.

In the book of 1 Corinthians it says:

“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Present your body as holy and pleasing to God.

“Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice – alive, holy, and pleasing to God – which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1)

I therefore don’t find it necessary if you direly want to prove your faith in Jesus through tattoos. Hey, that’s the temple of the Holy Spirit. The subsequent verses remind us “not to be conformed to this present world.”

I surely know what I’m talking about here wouldn’t auger well for several Christians; especially those who fall into this category. But I believe it is worth saying.

If we really want to store the word of God with us, it must be in our hearts just like how David did:

“In my heart I store up your words, so I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11)

The New Covenant reminds us to allow the word of God inscribed in our hearts and minds.

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people” (Hebrews 8:10)

To quickly conclude here with the God is higher than the highs and lows tattoo and why I don’t recommend it— be aware that every true Christian has a spiritual sign and it comes from the Holy Spirit who testifies to our spirits that we are the children of God. (Romans 8:16)

It is therefore not necessarily to be somehow religious like the Pharisees who were drawing attention to themselves in everything they do but inwardly full of rottenness.

Using G>∧∨ Apparels

A Christian can demonstrate his love and faith in God through apparel. This is something I will rather recommend. If you have God is higher than the highs and lows sign on your T-shirt, cap, sweater, necklaces, bangles etc, then it’s good.

Why do I say it’s good to have G>∧∨ sign on such objects? The reason is simple; none of these objects can replace the temple of God being the body of man.

God is higher than the hits and lows T-shirt

The Bible explicitly said the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; not our clothes or any other thing.

If that is the case, then you can confidently wear clothes and other objects with the G>∧∨ sign. You can grab some of the beautiful apparel designs with Christian signs, Bible verses or names from any credible store.

I must admit, it’s a beautiful thing to wear clothes having G>∧∨ designed on them. Like I said earlier, the hidden message behind this sign is heartwarming.

It is one of the commonest ways Christians can use to inspire themselves. It’s a reminder of the greatness of God over all powers, authorities, problems and everything you could ever think of.

God Is Bigger Than The Highs And Lows Bible Verses

We can find several Bible verses that authenticate the phrase, “God is higher than the highs and lows.”

Think about the mind-blowing miracles God has performed as recorded in the Bible and be confident in Him during trials.

The early prophets and worshippers saw and testified to the greatness of God. Kind David for instance exalted God in several passages in his writings. When all hope faded out, the Lord miraculously protected and blessed him.

Today, we can also place our hope in God knowing very well that He has a track record of subduing bigger enemies who claimed to be unbreakable.

Remember a king like Nebuchadnezzar, who thought to himself as the mightiest king ever to rule until he found out that Yahweh is the King of Kings and the Most High God.

God is bigger than the highs and lows Bible verse

1. “Indeed, my plans are not like your plans, and my deeds are not like your deeds, for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so my deeds are superior to your deeds and my plans superior to your plans.” (Isaiah 55:8 – 9)

2. “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5 – 6)

3. “Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20)

4. “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4)

5. “You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters. You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.” (Psalms 74:13 – 14)

6. “God does not really live on the earth! Look, if the sky and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this temple I have built!” (1 Kings 8:27)

7. “And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Finally, when we take this quote “God Is Greater Than The Highs And Lows” through the lens of the Bible, we can find several applicable verses to authenticate it.

God is higher than any mountain of construction. May this post inspire you today to grow in faith. And feel free to carry the G>∧∨ sign with you as a Christian wherever you are.

Again, be ready to explain the meaning to any who asks. Remember that at the mention of the name Jesus Christ, all knees will bow and say he is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. Stay blessed.
