How To Bear Good Fruit For The Kingdom Of God? - Raising Zion

The earth bears good fruit when a seed is sown and nourished (Genesis 1:2,11,12). Our hearts are like earth for the word of God, so we may bear good fruit. Only God is good and through Him alone can we bear fruit that is good.

Good trees bear good fruit

A tree is known by its fruit (Matthew 12:33). A good tree cannot bring corrupt fruit, only good fruit (Matthew 7:17-20).

The fruit of the wicked is sin (Proverbs 10:16). Those who are born of God do not sin (1 John 5:18). They walk in righteousness which tends to life.

Righteousness of God

Growing roots in the righteousness of God will yield good fruits (Proverbs 12:12).

Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches that can bear fruit, worthy fruit, in Him alone. God serves us by tending to us as we fix our eyes on Jesus. When we abide in Christ whatever we ask is given to us (John 15:1-7)

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)

Without Jesus, we can do nothing. What a wonderful privilege we have to know Jesus and pour out our lives to walk in Him. So far, God led us. Caring and bearing us. He engraved us in Him so no one can snatch us away. We cannot bear good, godly fruits with our own strength or abilities. A lifestyle of loving God daily brings out the natures of heaven naturally. Not one believer is worthy. We are made worthy by His precious blood, Word of God and leading of the Holy Spirit.

Every Spirit baptised Christian lives for the day of Christ bearing good fruit. Jesus is coming soon. Praise God and amen.

An Inspired Challenge for Wives This Father's Day - Today Can Be Different

He may feel insecure about being a dad, especially if he didn’t have the benefit of a good role model. Or maybe he feels more like an understudy because he’s “only” a stepdad.
