Exodus 21:24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

Exodus 21 vs 24

  1. When Jesus Christ came, he cancelled this law and said not to take revenge.
  2. Jesus Christ said the opposite of what we have in this verse.
  3. The challenge is which law we should obey, either the old or new testament.
  4. Some people still follow this law, eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth.
  5. This means you are to do the same thing when someone does something wrong for you, but Jesus Christ cancelled this law.
  6. Jesus Christ said, leave vengeance for God.
  7. I pray you shall know how to come to the presence of God to determine what the spirit of God wants in every situation of your life.
  8. May the spirit of God guide you and grant you wisdom in your daily activities in Jesus’ name. Amen
