Esther 5 vs 14

Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

  1. In Esther 5 vs 14, Zeresh, Haman’s wife and friend of Haman, advised him to build a gallow to hang Mordecai.
  2. In Esher 6 vs 13, the same wife, Zeresh and friends of Haman told him he would not prevail against Haman and would fail before Haman.
  3. Don’t take all pieces of advice, even from close ones. Learn to shift evil advice from good ones.
