12 Healthy Mom Hacks for the Holidays Series - Julie Naturally

It’s hard to be a healthy mom during the holidays, isn’t it? While the kids light up with anticipation for Christmas day and hubby settles in to enjoy some time off and delicious comfort food, who does all the work?

Moms, right?

Do you ever feel like Merry Christmas is merry for everyone but you? After all, all I want to do is sit at the feet of Jesus and soak in the hope and joy of the season. But instead, I often feel stressed out and a tad bit anxious. Then, I sometimes medicate with food. Sound familiar?

This series is about mom self-care during the holiday season. We’re talking about ways to de-stress, relax, and avoid self-medicating with food so we can be healthy moms.

The Healthy Mom Hacks for the Holidays series runs December 1-16, 2020.

We tend to get a bit overwhelmed at this time of year, but this page might be the ticket to helping you focus. To help everyone have a merrier Christmas, several other bloggers are running a 12 Days of Christmas type series, too. So, take a look. Some are Advent and Christmas activities, some are Christmas themed homeschool lessons, and some–like mine–are more for you, mom.
