4 Ways Of Living Your Life According To Bible

You came into this world to fulfill a purpose; the purpose of serving, praying, and following the path of God. However, not everyone can identify their purpose in life and live their life according to it.

Most of the time, people don’t know what to do and how to be on the right path. If you’re one of those forsaken and abandoned individuals, this blog will be of help.

Do the following to live your life according to the teachings of your God.

The first and foremost thing to do is be helpful and caring toward those in need. If God has blessed you in ways different from others, you must share those blessings with individuals deprived of them.

You must help the orphans, the underprivileged, and old members of your community. You can help them financially, spend time with them, collect funds for their well-being, and even gift used items that are worth the charity.

Instead of hostility, misunderstanding, and violence, the world needs compassion to spread love, peace, and harmony. We would comprehend that wars and violence are not the solutions if we can feel the pain of innocent people.

Therefore, it’s crucial and significant to be a compassionate person who consoles grieving individuals, such as widows and others who have lost loved ones.

True religion entails empathizing with others, understanding their pain, and doing something to alleviate their suffering. It also implies that you must overcome selfishness and begin to think about others, and not just yourself.

You can’t call yourself a religious person if you don’t practice compassion.

A cross hanging

Keep your purity and avoid being corrupted by worldly evils. Cleanse yourself from your earthly vices if you desire to follow true religion. Be honest in your dealing; don’t lie or cheat with anyone.

If you or the religious group you follow is engaged in any unethical or illegal activities, you should seriously think if you’re fulfilling your purpose of life because this isn’t a part of what Jesus has taught us.

Have Self-Control

Learning to control and regulate your anger is another key aspect of practicing your religion. You must not react to a situation abruptly, but instead, you should listen, understand and then speak. You will become wise and humble if you learn to restrain yourself. It’ll also assist you in getting rid of folly.

“If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.” – James 1:26 (NIV)
