“Trust and Obey.”
“Have Faith in God.”
Notably, these are all words from old hymns.
For many of us, these are words we have heard, spoken, and sung all of our lives.
Moreover, we know that we are to have faith.
But sometimes it is just PLAIN HARD to have faith in God.
Obviously, some days, our faith is weaker than on other days.
Truly, believing in God’s sovereignty can often be a great challenge!
Indeed, we are living in some of those days right now.
Certainly, I don’t remember a stranger season than the one our world is going through at this time.
Crazy diseases.
And, markets plunging.
Events being canceled.
As well as… Panic.
And, fear.
(Even… Toilet paper is being bought in large quantities from the shelves of stores. I’m still not sure I understand the huge rush on T.P.!)
And, I can think of no better weapon against fear and crazy doubt that the amazing promises of the Bible.

Indeed, Abraham believed God against all hope, and God blessed him with a son.
Romans 4:21 says that he was,
“fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”

“Thomas because you have seen Me, you have believed.
And, blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
